City and Regional Planning BA (Hons)
As this is a Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) recognised course it provides the necessary knowledge and skills for understanding current environmental problems and developing appropriate solutions. Successful completion leads to a one-year postgraduate Diploma in Planning (with a possibility to upgrade to a Master of Planning) and entry into the planning profession.
City and Regional Planning M.Plan
This four year undergraduate masters degree adds an extra year to the City and Regional Planning BA, in which specialisation will take place. Students are required to choose between Urban Design, Environmental Impact Assessment, Historic Conservation, Urban Planning in Developing and Transitional Regions, Tourism Planning, Transport Planning or Urban Regeneration.The focus during this final year is on Planning in Practice.
Planning and Property Development BA (Hons)
This course has been designed to reflect the growing synergies and collaborations between the planning and property development professions. A rounded education and training in both professional areas will equip you to function effectively and survive radical changes in the course of your professional career. Successful completion leads to entry into the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and partial entry into the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
